Our aim is to be a transparent organization focused on the musical experience of the young musician, engaging the community in our efforts.

Board members have represented a wide age range (teens to 70s), a variety of ethnic backgrounds (white, mixed, asian, native, black, hispanic), a variety of socio-economic backgrounds, and a variety of relationships to the organization. We are proud to have two high schoolers on the board.

  • Brian Jack, Executive Director

Dr. Jack's affinity for education and community involvement has played a large role in his life.

Brian studied Music Performance and Education at Ithaca College and the University of Colorado and completed the League of American Orchestras' Essentials of Orchestral Management, where he worked with Deborah Borda, Deborah Rutter, composer John Adams, and more.

Brian formed the Boulder Bassoon Quartet and teaches and performs throughout Colorado.

He and his wife Kaori Uno, a bassoonist in the award-winning Antero Wind Quintet, are proud parents of two boys!

Zoe Zanoff is a dedicated educator in Colorado with a passion for fostering joy amongst the future musicians of the world. She is in her second year of teaching and holds a Masters in Music Education from Colorado State University. Zoe’s musical journey began at the age of 11 in California when she started playing the French horn. Since then, she has showcased her musical talent by performing in various California and Colorado ensembles. Zoe is strongly committed to music education and passionate about creating a fun musical environment for children to explore.

  • Tori Seaver, Marketing & Events Coordinator

Tori Seaver (she/her) joined GBYO as the Marketing & Events Coordinator in 2024.

Tori’s passion for music was fostered from a young age when she started playing piano at five years old and briefly took violin lessons before later learning oboe at the recommendation of her middle school music teacher. She quickly fell in love with the challenge of the instrument and was a member of the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra from 2013-2015, and toured with WYSO throughout Argentina in Summer 2014.

Tori earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a certificate in International Studies and minors in Spanish and Anthropology from the University of Tulsa. She was later accepted to the Master of Arts-Business: Arts and Creative Enterprise Leadership program at the University of Wisconsin – Madison’s Bolz Center for Arts Administration within the Wisconsin School of Business.

Outside of work, Tori enjoys exploring Colorado with her dog, Wicklow.
